How to get a Google review link

Step by step

1. Fastest: type your business name in the search below and pick your listing. Your direct review link appears, with a QR code.
2. From Google Business Profile: sign in with the Google account that manages your business, open your profile, choose the option to ask for reviews, and copy the link it shows.
3. From the link's own pattern: take your place ID and use search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID — the same direct link the search builds for you.
4. Test it: open the link in a private browser window. The review box for your business should open straight away.

Questions

Do I need to be the owner to get a Google review link?

No. The search on this page finds the direct link for any published Google listing. Getting it from inside Google Business Profile needs an owner or manager sign-in.

How long does it take?

With the search on this page, under a minute: find the business, copy the link.

What should I do with the link once I have it?

Send it to every customer soon after the job, put it on receipts and invoices, and print the QR code for the counter. GossipGarden can send it after each job automatically, with one reminder.

Why does my link open Google Maps instead of the review box?

Some short links open the listing first. The direct link from this page opens the review box itself.

Ask everyone

GossipGarden never screens customers before the ask, and neither should this card. Every customer gets the same link — that is what makes the reviews real, and what keeps you on the right side of Google's policy.
